The phrase “They don’t make them like they used to.” truly applies to classic, vintage, antique, and muscle cars.
These vehicles evoke instant memories of where you were in life when these beauties were on the road. Your first car, your fathers’s car, your grandfathers’ car, etc. Don’t you wish you still had at least one of them and for Texans, they often do!
These magnificent machines used chrome wildly, auto designers sought to be different and set trends, and color was an expression in design.
Surprising finds can always be discovered at our estate sale.
Classic cars are often part of an estate when we are contacted by someone seeking information on an estate sale or estate auction.
Not only are we very experienced in handling the sale of classic cars, we have international contacts for global exposure of our clients vehicles and other valued items. Our international buyers and investors are always anxious for opportunities to add to their collections despite the state of the economy.
Shipping a vehicle to England or Australia is not unusual and of course we take care of all of these details and paperwork on behalf of the seller.
Vintage cars, also known as ‘Classic Cars’ are vehicles 50 years or older. Antique vehicles are 100 years of age or more. Despite the age and condition, we can assist in the sale of any vehicle.
Even if your classic vehicle is rusted or not running that is not a problem. We have buyers for all types of cars in any condition.
Some of the most desired classic vehicles are Corvettes, Mustangs, Chevy’s, and of course a vintage Ferrari is going to be highly desired by all. This is true with all the extremely high value sports cars, especially Italian made. Obviously the fewer made, the most valuable they are.
If the vehicle is ‘all stock’ meaning it has all its original features such as radio, rims, chrome, etc., that will bring an even higher value. We recently facilitated the sale of a 1966 Ford Mustang that had the original plaid plastic lining in the trunk. It came from the original owner and had only 99k miles. Originally purchased of the show room floor for $2400.00. It was our pleasure to find a great new home for the Mustang and both buyer and seller were very happy with the terms of the transaction.
The sale of classic cars seldom takes place at our estate sales unless this is the wish of the home owner for some reason. Instead we typically market the vehicle world-wide which greatly increases the exposure over what normally would be a local or statewide sale by most other estate firms in the Austin area. We market high value items like classic cars world wide to expose our clients vehicles to the most serious collectors and investors.
We treat high value vehicles like high value jewels and art…with great care. Of course we are fully insured, licenced and bonded, and are proud that we have never had a situation where we needed to utilize our insurance due to any type of claim. Additionally, for the sale of classic cars and other high value items, theses type of transactions are personally handled by senior management at All Estate Sales & Auction Company.
As we are accustom to handling high value items such as vehicles, jewels, art, coins and more, our staff always respects the properties of our clients. We treat homes and belongings as though they were our own. When necessary, confidential sales are not a problem either.
