Our Erte auction of January 1st was, as expected, a grand success.

Our next fine art auction is right around the corner.

Many item sold for over three times the opening bid and key worldwide collectors participated in the event. 

Items of special interest that had special interest include: 

Baccarrat “Flight of Love” Crystal Vases. CRYSTAL & BRONZE.  Edition Number: 395  Date of Production: 1989 Produced at: ART & RESEARCH TECHNOLOGY  Combining the Stellar designs of the Legend Erte, the Father of Art Deco” With The perfectionist production techniques of Baccarat, One of the oldest and most famous crystalleries in the World.  The crystal is full lead and made entirely by hand. Hand Blown, Hand cut and Hand pulled with two Art Deco Erte designed Handles in Gilt Bronze depicting hummingbirds feeding on grape clusters.

Three Panel ScreenThis 70″x72″ piece was purchased directly from the Ron Parker’s Estate. It was made for Mr. Parker per request by Erte himself. The three panel wardrobe screen depicts a woman on each panel in which looks like colder weather. Black lacquered background with gold silhouettes of men in their top hats standing by. Erte’s signature appears in lower right corner of 3rd panel. Screen inspired by a 1921 Harpers Bazaar design Erte created. Photos show this actual item hanging as individual panels in Ron Parkers mansion. He used the screen as individual panels , it has since been out back into a trifold this is the EXACT item as shown on his walls.
